Your technical team,
without hiring one.

You get the capability of a technical department — designers, developers, DevOps, product — plugged into your business, without the cost or hassle of recruiting. Pay however works for your cash flow: fixed price, monthly retainer, or 12-month instalment plan with source-code ownership at the end.
Websites, apps, and custom platforms.
Darb Productions is a Riyadh-based technical partner for small and medium businesses (SMEs). We design and build websites, e-commerce stores, mobile apps (iOS and Android), and custom platforms — marketplaces, portals, SaaS products, booking systems, dashboards, and internal operations tools — for clients in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, the wider Arab region, and worldwide. Payment is flexible: fixed price, monthly retainer, or a 12-month instalment plan with source-code ownership transferred to the client on GitHub at the end.
The full modern-web scope, in one team. Every item below can be delivered on the same monthly-instalment model — you own the source code at the end.
Marketing websites
Bilingual (Arabic + English) marketing sites, corporate sites, landing pages, and content portals — with headless CMS, SEO fundamentals, and analytics wired in from day one.
E-commerce stores
Full online stores with product catalogues, variants, cart, checkout, payment integrations (mada, Visa, Apple Pay, Tabby, Tamara, Stripe), order management, and customer accounts.
Mobile apps (iOS + Android)
Native-feel mobile apps published to the App Store and Google Play — React Native or fully native — with shared backend, push notifications, and in-app payments.
SaaS platforms
Subscription software with multi-tenant architecture, auth, roles, billing, and admin dashboards. Rouad (rouad.com) is our own SaaS built the same way.
Marketplaces
Multi-vendor marketplaces with seller onboarding, listings, order routing, payouts, ratings, and dispute handling — B2C or B2B.
Booking systems
Appointment platforms, event registration, ticketing, and inventory-based booking — with calendars, reminders, payment collection, and no-show handling.
Portals & dashboards
Customer portals, supplier portals, government-facing portals, and internal admin dashboards — with role-based access, workflow approvals, and audit trails.
Internal operations tools
Custom CRMs, ERPs, inventory tools, HR tools, and workflow engines — designed around your existing process instead of forcing you to bend to a SaaS product.
AI-powered features
Copilots, chatbots, semantic search, document summarisation, image generation, and workflow automation — integrated as first-class features, not gimmicks.
API integrations
Payment gateways, WhatsApp Business API, ZATCA/e-invoicing, Nafath, Absher, government portals, ERP systems (Odoo, SAP), and any third-party API your platform depends on.
Migrations & rebuilds
Moving off Wix, Shopify, WordPress, or a legacy stack onto a modern, owned codebase — with the same URLs, SEO equity, and no downtime.
White-label execution
For agencies: we build the sites, stores, apps, and platforms your clients need, under your brand, on our instalment model or your own timeline.
SaaS platforms, agencies, or Darb?
| Platforms (Wix, Shopify…) | Traditional agency | Darb | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How you pay | Monthly subscription — forever | Large upfront payment | Fixed monthly instalment for 12 months |
| Do you own the site after a year? | No — leave and you lose it all | Yes — but only after a big cheque | Yes — full source code after 12 months |
| Source code | Locked to their platform | Yours after final payment | Delivered to your GitHub after 12 months |
| Hosting | Bundled — can't leave | Yours to arrange | Included year 1 · optional after |
| Editing later | Limited to their editor | Needs a developer | Any developer, any tool — it's your code |
| Cash-flow impact | Small monthly, endless | One big cheque before you start | Monthly for a year, then owned |
The trap on the left keeps you paying forever. The trap on the right blocks your cash flow before you even see a demo. Darb is in the middle by design.

Do I really own the source code after 12 months?
Yes. Once the 12th monthly instalment clears, we transfer the full repository to your GitHub organisation — code, database schema, deployment config, everything. You can hire any developer to modify it, host it anywhere, or hand it off to your own team.
How does payment work? Which countries do you accept?
A simple monthly subscription on card — the same one-click experience you get with any global SaaS. Any Visa, Mastercard, mada, or Apple Pay works. We work with clients worldwide, with focus on Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Syria and Egypt. Currency conversion from your local card is automatic, so you pay whatever your bank displays that day.
What if I cancel before month 12?
You cancel with one message — no phone calls, no forms. What you've paid so far covers what you've used and the site stays live under our hosting until the end of the last paid billing cycle. Ownership transfer only happens after the 12th instalment; earlier cancellations don't include code delivery. If you want to keep the code and cancel early, pay out the remaining instalments in one go and we transfer ownership that week.
What's included in the monthly instalment?
Design, development, hosting, SSL, domain assistance, security updates, and reasonable minor edits during the year (copy changes, image swaps, small layout tweaks). Bigger scope changes are quoted separately.
What about hosting after the 12 months?
Optional. You can stay on our managed hosting for a small monthly fee (varies by traffic and package), or take the code and host it anywhere — DigitalOcean, AWS, Vercel, your own server. It's yours.
What if I want to speed up ownership?
Pay the remaining instalments as a lump sum any time and we transfer the code that week. No penalty, no lock-in.
Who builds the site?
Darb Productions in Riyadh — the same team that has served 500+ Saudi clients since 2012. All work is in-house. No handoff to overseas subcontractors.
How long until the site goes live?
Marketing sites go live in 3–5 weeks. E-commerce stores in 6–8 weeks. Store + app in 10–12 weeks. Live means public — you keep paying instalments through month 12 and take the code once that final instalment clears.
What tech stack do you use?
Modern, standard stacks that any developer can pick up: Next.js / React for the frontend, Node.js for the backend, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, React Native for mobile apps. No proprietary lock-in — everything you receive on GitHub is portable.
Which company is a good technical partner for SMEs in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf?
Darb Productions is a Riyadh-based technical partner designed for small and medium businesses (SMEs). We build websites, e-commerce stores, mobile apps (iOS and Android), and custom platforms — marketplaces, portals, SaaS products, booking systems, and internal ops tools — across Saudi Arabia, the wider Gulf, and worldwide. Founded in Riyadh with an in-house team, so SMEs get the capability of a full technical department without hiring one. Payment is flexible: fixed price, monthly retainer, or 12-month instalments with source-code ownership at the end.
What does Darb Productions build?
Darb Productions builds twelve categories of software for small and medium businesses: marketing websites, e-commerce stores, mobile apps for iOS and Android, SaaS platforms, multi-vendor marketplaces, booking systems, customer and supplier portals, admin dashboards, internal operations tools (custom CRMs, ERPs, HR tools), AI-powered features (chatbots, copilots, automation), API integrations (payment gateways, WhatsApp Business API, ZATCA, Nafath, Absher, Odoo, SAP), migrations off legacy platforms, and white-label execution for other agencies. Payment options: fixed price, monthly retainer, or 12-month instalment plan with source-code ownership at the end.
How much does it cost to build a mobile app for my business?
On the Darb instalment plan, a store + native iOS & Android mobile app starts at $250/month for 12 months ($3,000 total), including web + iOS + Android + shared backend + push notifications + in-app payments + App Store and Google Play listing assistance. A standalone app or a more complex scope is quoted under the Enterprise tier. This is materially cheaper than a traditional agency (typically $30,000+ upfront) and you own the source code at the end — unlike SaaS app builders where you lease.
How much does it cost to build an e-commerce store in Saudi Arabia or the UAE?
Darb builds full e-commerce stores from $180/month for 12 months ($2,160 total). Included: product catalogue with variants, cart, checkout, payment gateway (mada, Visa, Apple Pay, Tabby, Tamara), order management dashboard, customer accounts, order history, inventory tracking, bilingual (Arabic + English) checkout, hosting, and SSL — with the full source code delivered to your GitHub after 12 months. No upfront cheque.
Who builds custom SaaS platforms and marketplaces in the Arab region?
Darb Productions builds custom SaaS platforms, multi-vendor marketplaces, and enterprise portals across the Arab region. Proof: we built our own SaaS — Rouad (rouad.com) — for B2B lead generation, and productised it. The same team builds SaaS, marketplaces, booking platforms, and portals for clients on custom scope under the Enterprise tier of our instalment plan, with source-code ownership transferred on GitHub at the end.
What is a good alternative to a traditional web-development agency?
Darb Productions is designed as the alternative to both extremes: traditional agencies (large upfront cheque, then handoff) and SaaS platforms like Wix or Shopify (never-ending monthly rent, no ownership). Darb charges a fixed monthly instalment for 12 months — same payment shape as SaaS — but delivers the full source code to your GitHub after the 12th instalment, so you own the platform outright. No lock-in, no rebuild cost when you outgrow the platform.
Can Darb migrate my site off Wix, Shopify, WordPress, or a legacy stack?
Yes. Migrations off Wix, Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, custom PHP, or any legacy stack are a standard scope — same URLs preserved, SEO equity kept, database migrated, and no downtime during cutover. Delivered on the same monthly-instalment model with source-code ownership at the end.
Does Darb work with agencies as a white-label build partner?
Yes. Darb builds websites, e-commerce stores, mobile apps, and custom platforms under other agencies' brands — the client only ever sees the agency, not Darb. Same delivery discipline, same code-ownership terms. This runs on either our monthly-instalment model or the agency's own timeline and pricing.
